Pan Pacific Masters Games 2008 Official Website
Registration: Team organizers must register themselves before they can register their team and please be aware that participants cannot use their user name & password from 2006 PPMG. Participants are encouraged to read the 'how to enter' page on the PPMG website.
Fees: The cost of playing Soccer in the 2008 Pan Pacific Masters Games, if you pay before the early bird cut off date, which is September 5th, is $80 (Pan Pac Fee) + $65 (Soccer Fee) per player per team. This means that every player will pay a total of $145 to participate in the Games.
Physios/Doctors: Sports Medicine Australia will provide free first aid services at the sport venues, trainers have Senior First Aid Cert, additional training and injury prevention training. SMA trainers will be wearing red & yellow t-shirts.
There is going to be a physio service offered by Griffith University Post graduate students at the Gold Coast Convention Centre and on Griffith Uni Campus, this will be a reduced cost to participants.
SMA trainers will also have a referral directory with them onsite at sports which will have information on Gold Coast Health Services. (Gold Coast Soccer will also include information on this in a Sport Program that you will get at the Games).
SMA trainers can provide assistance with taping, stretching and massage. Taping is free when it's used in the treatment of an injury, if it is a preventative measure not incurred from an injury playing sport there is a &5.00 fee per joint, which is payable immediately. This service is free if participants provide their own tape.
