AN initiative between Gold Coast Soccer Inc and Gold Coast United FC will see the region’s football community rewarded for 2010/11 Hyundai A-League season memberships that are purchased through their local club.

All Gold Coast Soccer Inc member clubs are eligible to take part in the rewards program and all each club has to do is nominate a club representative or team to drive the membership program.

The partnership will guarantee $20 from each 2010/11 Gold Coast United season membership goes straight back into the club from which it was purchased – plus more.

- 20 memberships receive a Gold Coast United signed ball.

- 50 memberships receive a signed ball and a double pass to the Gold Class section at the Gold Coast Utd v Brisbane Roar game (8 August).

- 100 memberships receive a signed ball and double pass to Gold Class for 3 games.

- 200 + memberships receive a signed ball and double season pass to Gold Class (15 games).

- The overall winner with most membership sales receives signed Gold Coast United jersey and signed ball.

With these rewards and the $20 to Gold Coast Soccer member clubs, the opportunity is for there for all fans to get behind Gold Coast United, their local club and support Gold Coast Soccer Inc, who will also receive $5 from every membership sold.

Gold Coast United CEO, Clive Mensink, said the rewards program was a great way for fans to show their support for football across the board.

“The benefits of this scheme are there to see and we encourage every local club, and everyone who is involved in local football, to jump on board and get involved,” Mensink said.

He added: “It’s a win-win situation, especially when you consider what great value our new season memberships are in the first place.”
