Field Closures Tuesday the 26th of May

Tue May 26 2009

The Gold Coast City Council has not updated its message about field closures since 3pm Yesterday (Monday the 25th) when it had officially closed all fields (including Carrara Sporting Complex). Clubs are reminded that should they disregard any field closure advice, clubs would be liable for repair costs for any damages caused to the fields.

If in doubt, please call the Club you are playing to make sure.

We have heard from a few clubs that they have their fields closed, these clubs are:

Banora Point - CLOSED
Robina - CLOSED
Southport - CLOSED

Some Fields down south have been opened by the Tweed Shire Council and they are:

Border United - OPEN
Murwillumbah - OPEN

Merrimac - (Having Private Fields) are OPEN for Training and Matches
