Broadbeach score a double

Broadbeach claim the Grand Final Winners trophy as well as the Premiership trophy to score a double in the Dog and Parrot Premier League .

Two goals  late in the game were enough for Broadbeach to win the Grrand Final against Coomera.  Masanori  Uchimura scored a spectacular goal in the 73rd minute to knock the wind out of a gallant Coomera team and as Coomera pushed forward searching for the equaliser Luke Glanz put the result beyond doubt netting in the 87th minute.

In the Reserve grade Grand Final  Burleigh Heads ground out a 1-0 win against opponents Palm Beach with Carrick Petford slotting home the winning goal to break the deadlock .

In the youth grade Grand final Magic United were too strong for a committed Gold Coast Knights team coming out winners 3-0
