Under 19's show fighting spirit
11th Mar 2011The Gold Coast Under 19 Squad handled themselves well against a team boasting John Costello and other over age players in their first game of the HQSYL for the 2011 season After gifting a goal in the third minute the boys kept their composure only to concede another sloppy goal to finish at half time with a two goal deficit. Some quality football by the boys in the second half saw the smallest player with the biggest heart Fraser Hills score a magnificent goal . Despite the superb efforts of the whole team they were unable to conjure up enough space to score the equaliser . The final score being 2- 1 to the Gold Coast Stars
